ABSTRACT
The aim of carrying out this research work was to examine the impact of human resources management on productivity in manufacturing industry.
The study made use of sampling method in order to achieve the objective of the study. A total twenty (20) staff were selected. The percentage scoring technique was adopted for the analysis of data collected for the study.
Finding from the study showed that there was high rate importation i.e. importing goods that can be manufactured in Nigeria etc. this brings about the increase in the exchange rate and also efforts had been made by every emerging government, through programmes and policies to proffer a lastiny solution to the problems.
The study therefore, recommended among others that the government of Nigeria should provide adequate health and medical facilities, to workers, Government should also ensure efficient communication between staff and government and should put in place new condition of service so as to improve the efficiency of workers.

INTRODUCTION
- Background of the Study
Human resources management is a process of making use of materials and human resource to accomplish designated objects.
It involves the organization, coordination and evaluation of people to achieve those goals. Human resources management in all industries of the world from past to the present is the strength towards productivity.
In any manufacturing industry, the aim is to achieve maximum efficiency in production and to achieve, this the salaries and wages of the employees should commensurate with the activities they perform. If the salaries of the employees are very low, this becomes a problem in production efficiency. It is important that people should be involved in making decision on matters affecting them vis-à-vis the manufacturing industries and also where they are able to contribute joint consolation, committee, meeting, joint unions and management committee should be maintained upon a basis by which considering the welfare of the individual enable all those involved to engaged in the undertaken to make their maximum contribution to the effective working of that undertaken. To derive efficiency and welfare human management in a manufacturing industry.
This study therefore investigates the need for human resources management in the manufacturing sector using Nigeria Breweries Plc Ibadan as a case study.
